Europe is at a turning point in security policy, and strategic autonomy in space has become a pressing priority. Resilient satellite infrastructure supports both military readiness and civilian preparedness — and securing it requires close cooperation between allies.

This event brings together policymakers, industry leaders, and experts from Norway, Germany, and the UK to discuss how joint solutions, grounded in existing European strengths, can deliver the security and resilience the continent needs. Norway contributes its strategic location and launch capabilities, Germany its industrial and technological base, and the UK its specialist expertise — complementary competencies that together strengthen Europe’s space ecosystem.

The programme features two panel sessions: the first on the new security landscape and the role of a resilient space ecosystem, the second on applying European space capabilities to strengthen strategic autonomy.

Rather than starting from scratch, the path to strategic autonomy lies in connecting and building on the capabilities Europe has already developed. Join us aboard MS Brisen to be part of the conversation.
